Payment Methods, deposits and cancellations

STUDENT-ACCOMMODATION-MADRID offers you a variety of easy and convenient payment methods, depending on your length of stay and type of accommodation selected during your time in Madrid. This page also informs you about our deposits and cancellation conditions.

Payment Methods 

1.  International Bank Transfer:

NOTE: STUDENT-ACCOMMODATION-MADRID accepts no responsibility for any bank transfer charges.  Any extra charges need to be settled at your end of the transaction; please inform the bank of this when making your payment.

2.  Debit/Credit Card

Please either call or email Student Accommodation Madrid with the following details:
        - The 16 digit Visa / MasterCard card number
        - The security code (the last three digits on the back of the card)
        - The expiry date of the card (month and year)

* NOTE: All details will be destroyed after the transaction.


Payment Timescales

Reservations for a period of 4 weeks or less - In order to confirm the reservation, the total amount due must be paid in full upon reservation.

Reservations for periods of 4 weeks ormore - Payment must be made on a monthly basis, in advance and according to the payment schedule indicated on the invoice.

Deposit returns:

The deposit will be returned by bank transfer within 7 days after the departure, upon receipt of the keys, after the inspection of the room, if the room is left in the same state as it was found on arrival and if the resident has not caused any annoyance to the neighbours or the other residents during his stay.

The resident has to provide his bank details (Name of the account holder, IBAN, SWIFT / BIC) within one month after the departure. If the bank details are not provided in time, the deposit will be retained.

If rent for the period of stay is not paid, this will be retained from the deposit.


Cancellation before occupancy

If the reservation is cancelled before arrival, the deposit will be retained in full.

Cancellation during occupancy 

The Resident must give a one month notice period in writing if s/he wishes to terminate the rental agreement before the end of the contractual period and pay the rental to the end of the notice period.
If the above condition is complied with, the deposit will be repaid in full. If the above is not complied with, the deposit will be retained in full.
Under no circumstances will rental amounts already paid be returned.
